How our sheds are Assembled

Manufacturing:

Each of our sheds are premade in our home office in Rexburg, ID. These sheds are pre-cut, nailed, and painted before heading to your home for assembly.

This enables us save time, money, and cleanup work for assembling the yard shed at your home.

Lumber:

All our lumber is hand picked to avoid large knots, warped boards, and cracking to ensure you have the highest quality of strength to support your shed structure.

All our wood is Certified Quality Top Choice Lumber, an exclusive mark of quality lumber. Hand selected at the mill to be square, straight, solid and strong.

Windows:

Our Windows are Premium Vinyl single hung windows backed up with a lifetime warranty. Most shed companies provide metal framed single pane windows that are most likely to break and reduce insulation and moisture protection by 30%.

Roofing:

Metal Roofing Includes 29-gauge galvanized steel which provides durability, fire resistant, and anti color fading.

Our Shingles are GAF Lifetime Timberline Natural Shadow Shakewood Shingles. These shingles give you an up scale architectural look along with highest fire safety rating in America.

Foundation:

Our Wood Foundations surpass many buyers expectations due to it's long lasting durability. We never use 2x4's as what other shed companies use for their foundation, but we use 2x6's to enable your foundation to withstand the weight of a vehical.

The flooring is sheethed with a 23/32 in. x 4 ft. x 8 ft. OSB Tongue and Groove Flooring Board. The same type of flooring that is used on a residential flooring which would last 10 times loonger than the average 7/16" osb flooring.

Moisture Protection:

Even though you are just building a storage shed, you are building a shed that will store valuable objects that could be damaged from moisture penetration. That that is why Upper Valley Builders go the extra mile to ensure that your shed is protected from moisture penetration

All seams on the siding and windows are caulked to prevent moisture breaking throught the seams.

We also provide drip edge around the base of the siding to enable water to drip away from the foundation itself.

We have gone over a lot of things, but there is much more we can include. If you still have questions concerning our structures and how they are assempled, don't hesitate to call.

Thanks
